Today, I am really pleased to meet Mr. OLIVIER Morne, CEO of Business2Blockchain, I am an entrepreneur. It is now my intention to bridge the gap for Businesses to Blockchain Technologies and grow Decentralized Ecosystems.
I started the concept 4 years ago and founded Business2Blockchain 2 years ago. Business2Blockchain is a consultancy, with the aim to provide businesses with the right information and partnerships to incorporate or build on Blockchains.
As a consultancy Business2Blockchain still have many years of traction as the majority of businesses and people still struggle to place how and why they should engage with these new technology solutions. Our next phase is to build Business2Blockchain on a Blockchain and add the Incubator/Accelerator business model to the consultancy. This will add tremendous value and support for the Start-Ups in a Decentralized Financial, (DeFi) way.
Blockchain what is it now and whatās next?
1. First of all, what would you tell me about the headline of this interview?
The Blockchain Ecosystems are growing at a phenomenal pace. What does that mean? To understand this better, letās quickly take a look at three basic concepts of difference between what we currently have and where this development is taking place.
The Internet ā Currently is on the Centralized Web2, driven by (APPās), companies and services in exchange for personal data vs Decentralized Web3, driven by Decentralized Applications, (DAPPās) with no one person or company in charge, and protecting userās data. Blockchains are Decentralized Ledger Technology, (DLT).
Centralized vs Decentralized ā One person or company is in charge and rules the decision making processes vs a team, community, or the company as a whole is actively involved in the decision-making processes.
Private vs Open Source Blockchains ā Private is as the word suggests, a private Blockchain where only the single organization that owns it can read, write and even delete on the ledger, (very much like the old way on a Centralized system) vs an Open Source Public Blockchain which anyone can view, participate and incorporate the ledger into other compatible real Decentralized systems.
Whatās next?
To date 3674 DAPPās has been built on Web3 and a lot more in progress (https://www.stateofthedapps.com/stats). With this in mind, it is very hard not to think that there is a real shift in progress to Blockchain Technology. This is part of the vision that I saw 4 years ago, and part of the transformation I want to be a part of. Blockchain solutions will improve as they evolve, and there are no realistic way normal SaaS services that can compete.
It is therefor my opinion that entrepreneurs, business owners, and companies implement at the very least in-depth research into Blockchains and map a plan on how to integrate these new DLT services for SaaS is becoming BaaS, the Macrotrend.
2. I have been impressed by the mission of your Company: ā A modern Incubator and Accelerator for entrepreneurs and businesses who understand the importance of developing their companies with future technologiesā. How the Blockchain will be crucial?
Blockchain as a Service, (BaaS) offers unique improvements to the Incubator/Accelerator business model.
We aim to develop a Decentralized Finance (DeFi) incubator program on Web3 technology for our entrepreneurs and SMEās. Leveraging Blockchain technology and Smart Contracts with our range of Business2Blockchain (B2BC Assets).
The next phase for B2BC is to modernize the Incubator model into an:
- Web3 version with integrated Smart Contracts
- DAO (Decentralized Autonomous Organization) on DeFi.
- Offers Asset Issuance (Coin, Security, Utility, NFT) entailing joining and adopting an SDK suit on the Bitcoin, Ethereum, Tezos, EOS or Terra Blockchains and their Networks.
- AMMāāā(Automated Market Maker), money (liquidity) is provided and staked (invested) and the investment drives an APR % yield from which the building costs can be derived.
- Scaling opportunities with a very fast-growing NFT Technology sector to merge Blockchain Solutions and ideologies further.
The ready-made blockchain solutions for our client Start-Ups on the B2BC Web 3.0 platform, will focus on developing DeFi and NFT structures with high levels of liquidity, to create an ecosystem where everyone is a stakeholder working to help others succeed.
By incorporating āOver The Counterā (OTC) and DeFi services on Blockchain networks we will improve Equity and Collateral partnerships in a modern decentralized way with Investors getting access to (BaaS) Start-Ups in a direct B2B/P2P manner.
This approach will ensure:
- Increased access Internationally with increased Liquidity of Shares
- Decentralized OTC Removes 20-30% of the Liquidity Premium to Investors
- Further cost reductions in the direct management of Investors and Investments
- Increased access to Invest in Private Companies With full transparency, 24/7 OTC trading, and low risk.
What do you think about Blockchain investors? Is Blockchain a theme or a macrotrend?
Blockchain Investment is very important. Investors that have included Fintech in their portfolio will understand the importance of including the right BlockTech equity. Investors that have perhaps not included Fintech before, now have an opportunity to include this Macrotrend now.
From a Business2Blockchain perspective:
Our business model negotiates an average of 25% equity in our Start-ups. We are currently having talks with various Venture and Angel Investors to fulfil our capital needs as a Web3 Incubator and also for a whitelisted inclusion into the platform hub to participate in the Start-Up presentations.
We believe the Vision of B2BC, and its BlockTech Start-Ups represents a compelling investment and development opportunity. Apart from the obvious Incubator model, we know that establishing ourselves on Web3 will advance us at a critical stage of the technology and the growth path for the industry Start-Ups.
How should a financial planner like me consider Blockchain as an asset? Is it a Growth or a Value asset? Or there is not a real classification yet?
In our case Business2Blockchain currently seeks the Value Proposition. This means that the Start-Ups that we work with, have an undervalued entry into the market. We believe that our selection of projects all solves real world problems, and this coupled with a growing Blockchain industry makes for a perfect recipe.
In the future we will connect a Growth Asset strategy, which will include Business2Blockchain (B2BC) and the Start-Ups own Tokenization processes.
This will be in the form of a Stable Coin, Security Token, Utility Token and what I believe to be the future of value NFTās, (Non-Fungible Tokens). An example of one of these Coin use cases is a local Italian Start-Up that we plan to launch early 2022.
Good for Great is a Donations platform for NPO Charities. By using a Blockchain Ledger (DLT) we can ensure the transparent and fair distribution of donations to Charities. We can also Include a Stable Coin to do the distribution on the Blockchain Ledger to mitigate any risk, and this of course can then open up the platform to donate globally, instantly.
Last Question, the most important. How do you think that Blockchain and crypto currencies will change the global financial market?
I believe Blockchain already has. As mentioned above, Blockchain development is growing exponentially.
āThe global blockchain market size is expected to grow from USD 3.0 billion in 2020 to USD 39.7 billion by 2025, at an impressive Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of 67.3% during 2020ā2025. The increasing need for simplifying the business processes and need for supply chain management applications integrated with the blockchain technology will drive the overall blockchain market.ā

Bitcoin just reached its all-time high $1Trillion Market Cap, setting its site on Amazon and Google. Cryptocurrencies as a form of value transaction serves a real purpose, and as a speculative āStock/Assetā provides risky opportunities. The Crypto market however I think will also find maturity, and develop into its own niches of society, much like its physical predecessors.
Legislation and regulation generally are the key factors we look at for financial guidance when we start combining Fiat/Crypto services, and there are regulated Companies that we can use that offer the bridge between the two worlds.
NFT is the way of looking at āOwnershipā which will also play a huge role going forward, but this perhaps for next time.
Thank you for this opportunity to share my Company and thoughts with you.
Best Regards
Morne Olivier
